Melissa & Kevin Coleman
Melissa & Kevin are this amazingly down-to-earth couple with a love for nature and the desire to ensure the guests were comfortable and able to enjoy the evening with great food, music and lots of laughter. This wedding was so much fun, a whimsical day in May on the family’s sod farm. I love how involved their family friends were, and sweet enough to share lots details. It seemed everything happened organically, and this follows through in all areas of their lives, spiritually, romantically and so on.
A lush, romantic an completely unique bouquet was designed by The Floral Touch, along with the personal flowers, centerpieces and ceremony decor. The beautiful array of bold colors was a big part of expressing the couple personalities.
And let’s face it, there’s really no better way to experience the “hippy” effect than leaving in a cute “something blue” VW bug.
Over 500 guests spent the evening conversing and dancing to the sounds of a DJ who spun Melissa & Kevin’s favorite lounge music throughout the event.
Redefining the “Perfect Wedding”
Redefining the “Perfect Wedding” ….Again
The problem with using that overly clichéd term, “Perfect Wedding”
Asking for and expecting perfect brings undue amount of stress and STRESS IS a BEAUTY KILLER! Look at the faces of those “Bridezillas” who expected perfect on their wedding. They will have to endure the results with images of their tired, sad and mad faces when they could have been joyous and glowing, knowing their day was not about “perfect” but happiness in confirming.
I never use the term “Perfect Wedding” in any conversation with my clients. If you tell me that is what you want, truthfully, I may not be the planner you are looking for. I am a very accomplished wedding planning professional but cannot and will not promise you a “Perfect Wedding”.
But, I will promise you this. If you allow yourself to relax, trust in yourself, in the tasteful details you choose and wedding professionals you hired (with guidance from your wedding planner),you will find it much more enjoyable to go through the entire wedding journey, the wedding itself and the next when your new life is going forth together with your spouse begins.
And down the road, those special little unplanned, spontaneous and surprise moments of your wedding day; the ones that made you laugh and cry and smile , are what you will always remember and cherish as being “Perfect”!
